He Held The Door Open For A Stranger At The Bank
It was a special day for Rob Edwards. His 18-year-old son was graduating, and he was trying to slow down to "savor every minute" of the day.
As he walked into his local bank, he held the door open for a complete stranger. What happened next is going to touch your heart.
After Officer Is Killed In The Line Of Duty
Amy was a police officer in Baltimore County. Amy went to work wanting to make a difference. Amy put her uniform on everyday, never second guessed it and left her family behind. She drove her police car, listened to her radio and took every call. She saw things that no human should have to. She stood proud and loved what she did. Amy never thought that her life would end.
Amy was a human. A human that deserved to live.
She has a family, a husband, a home. She had a world outside of the Kevlar, outside of the glock, outside of the badge. She had dinner plans, weekend plans and vacation ideas. She had dreams and aspirations, AND A RIGHT TO GO HOME.
I didn't know Amy. But I know many like her.
My husband has been a deputy for 17 years. I couldn't tell you how many calls he's responded to just like Amy's last. How many times he's approached a stranger to protect the public. How many times he's put his life on the line. How many times our friends have done that. Honestly, I don't even want to think about it.
But I can tell you a few other things. I can tell you what Velcro sounds like. The thump of work boots, a glock going into a holster, a badge hitting the kitchen table, what an impala sounds like coming down my court at 2am, and bullets in the dryer. (Yes, that does happen) And I can tell you the relief that some of these sounds cause. Why relief? Because I know he's home.
We shouldn't share the people that did this to her. We need to share her. Celebrate her. Remember her.

Spider-Man of Paris' Gets French Citizenship After Saving Child
A man who has been dubbed the "Spider-Man of Paris" has been invited to apply for French citizenship after staging an incredible rescue over the weekend.
The 22-year-old met French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday morning after being hailed for his bravery.
Macron later announced that Gassama could seek French nationality and that the fire service was ready to offer him a job.
"I saw lots of people shouting and cars beeping," said Gassama, explaining to French media how he got involved.
"I climbed up like that and, thank God, I saved him," he continued. "I was scared when I saved him and we went into the living room, I started trembling and I couldn't stand up anymore, I had to sit down."
According to preliminary investigations, the child had been at home alone, reported AFP news agency.

French Teens Arrested for Hacking Vevo, Defacing Despacito Music Video
Last month, a handful of extremely popular music videos on YouTube were defaced. Now two 18-year-old French citizens are in police custody and have been charged with crimes related to the hack of Vevo YouTube accounts.
Per Variety, the teens were taken in by law enforcement officers in Paris. The 18-year-olds, identified as “Nassim B.” and “Gabriel K.A.B.,” are believed to be responsible for hijacking several Vevo accounts to publish pro-Palestine messages on wildly popular videos, including the music video for “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.
Nassim B. and Gabrial K.A.B. went by the online monikers of “Prosox” and “Kuroi’ish” when they carried out their hack and tagged a handful of videos with their names. In addition to hitting the most-watched YouTube video of all time, the teens also defaced videos from Adele, Chris Brown, DJ Snake, Drake, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Shakira, and Taylor Swift.
Other than changing the titles of the music videos to include pro-Palestine messages (or in some cases, just silly comments like “Drake has been killed by Prosox on fornite”), the hackers didn’t really cause much damage. In a few cases, they changed the thumbnail for a video to a still image from the TV series Money Heist. The videos were temporarily pulled down from YouTube in order to restore the titles and images.
In a tweet made shortly after defacing the video, the hacker going by Prosox said the whole hack was “just for fun” and was done using a simple script. “Dont judge me i love youtube,” he wrote.
For their short-lived hack, the two teens face a total of 11 criminal counts between the two of them, brought as a collaboration between the Paris Prosecutor’s Office and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in New York, where Vevo operates. Nassim B. was hit with five counts and Gabrial K.A.B. faces six counts of his own, including “fraudulently modifying data contained in an automated data processing system.”
Just a few months prior to the teens gaining access to Vevo accounts on YouTube, the music video service fell victim to a massive hack that exposed more than 3TB of internal data, much of which was believed to be sensitive in nature. The breach included everything from office documents, videos, and promotional materials to alarm codes for disabling the alarm in the company’s UK offices. There has been no indication to suggest the teens believed to be responsible for defacing Vevo music videos had any part in the earlier hack.
